Kora HR, formerly Highfield HR, helps businesses take the stress out of managing people. Combining expert outsourced HR advice with practical, people-first support, they help businesses build stronger teams, more confident leaders and workplaces where people can thrive.

Highfield came to us with ambitions to grow across the UK, but its brand was holding it back. The name lacked cut-through, making it harder for the business to stand out in a crowded market and build the recognition it needed to grow.

Getting to know the team, one thing became clear: they saw themselves as a partner to businesses, not a traditional HR consultancy. They were fiercely people-first, friendly and driven by a simple belief that managing people should feel easier. They combined the expertise to handle difficult situations with the empathy and commercial understanding to help businesses move forward. The opportunity was to build a brand that captured that sweet spot: neither big corporate nor small practice, but something in between.

So, rather than starting with how HR should look, we started with how it should feel. We wanted to challenge the conventions of the category and create a brand that made HR feel more approachable and, above all, more positive. Not just a service businesses turn to when something goes wrong, but a trusted partner in helping them thrive.

OLD Identity

ABOVE: samples of old identity

That sense of positivity became the thread running through the work. It shaped the personality, the positioning and, ultimately, the name. Enter Kora. Derived from koraboreshon, the Japanese word for collaboration, Kora felt upbeat, memorable and full of possibility. It captured the spirit of working together while giving the business a distinctive name and a platform to grow.

With the strategy in place, we set about bringing that personality to life. Bright colours, expressive typography and a charming illustration style give Kora a visual identity that feels fresh, friendly and full of optimism. The brand deliberately steps away from the corporate conventions of traditional HR, balancing a playful, human character with the credibility and confidence the business needs.

The result is a brand that feels true to the people behind it, while giving the business the tools to reach further. More than a new name and visual identity, Kora has a clearer point of difference and a platform for UK-wide growth. It makes the business feel less like another HR consultancy and more like what it has always set out to be: a positive partner in building better businesses.

“The experience has been fantastic from start to finish. The initial creative workshop was such a highlight, it brought our team together in an engaging way, sparking ideas we didn’t even know we had. LGT were full of amazing ideas. They managed to capture exactly what we didn’t even realise we wanted, creating a new name, logo, look, and voice that feels authentic to us and that the whole team is excited about.”

“The rebrand really stands out, it feels fresh, distinctive, and truly sets us apart from other HR consultancies. We’re confident it reflects who we are and where we’re going. We’re genuinely excited to launch the brand and can’t wait to share it with our clients and network.” — Leanne Yau, Director
