So here's what’s on the table… four placements, each a week long during the month of September. You'll join us in the studio and work alongside our print and brand team to gain a real insight into what it is to be a designer at Limegreentangerine. You'll get a Mac, a desk, a brief and a chance to impress whilst tapping into our collective experience.
We're a small team working closely alongside each other so you'll be right on the pulse of a busy, sometimes hectic studio. It's an opportunity to get a real taste of professional life and (hopefully) a great piece of work in your portfolio to take away. You'll also get tea, though you may have to make a cup or two yourself.
We're particularly interested in seeing what print and branding talent is out there and helping develop it. We want people who are driven, keen, engaged and have a positive attitude with a real thirst to grab a golden opportunity. You'll get out what you put in, so being a hard worker will stand you in good stead. But most of all we want talent.
Interested? Good. To apply, we want you to create a piece of creative inspired by the theme Four; be it some type, a poster or a handsome ad campaign. Maybe you fancy turning it into an entire brand for an invented company, or perhaps something entirely different. You choose, it's your gig. We don't expect polished, accomplished artwork at this stage, but we do want to see original thinking and a clear idea.
You'll need to be available to come in from 9-5 during a week in September (exact dates can be agreed).
So, still on board? Great! Send your entry, portfolio, CV and a little about yourself to firstname.lastname@example.org before 12 noon on Thursday 14th August. We'll shortlist the best entries and invite them in for an informal chat before selecting our final four.
UPDATE: Thanks to all who expressed interest and took the time to apply. The deadline has now passed so we'll be in touch very soon with folks. Don't worry though, if you missed it or missed out this time, we'll be running it again soon so keep an eye out.
