Housing the owner’s incredible collection of artworks and collectables acquired from decades of travel and work all over the world, no expense has been spared – down to the smallest detail. The magnificent centrepiece of the living area; a lit, handmade Flower of Life copper mantle, imported from the Balearic Islands, crowns the living area’s defining balcony view out to the stadium and embankment. This then, with its spirit and intricate form, provides the bond for the identity system complimented with a colour palette drawn from key pieces of furniture.

A visual narrative

At a top price point quality photography is imperative. Matt Cant has worked for some of the biggest names in interior design including Grand Designs Magazine, so he was the perfect fit for this commission, truly capturing the essence of MillView in its various guises and glory.

The website, likely the first touchpoint for new guests, is stripped back in design, balancing the opulent with the intriguing. Impressive large images presented with minimal type aim to seduce the visitor, while the extensive facilities and extras available complete the picture. The site whets the appetite, peering behind a door to a venue that only a fortunate few can afford to experience.

From notepads to house vino bottles; from coasters to ash-trays (they have a relaxed policy on smoking); and from toiletry miniatures and robes to matchbooks and desk stationery; every element and each touchpoint — or ‘nickables’ as the management like to think of them — is considered and kissed with the MillView brand. Notebooks and postcards feature wall artwork, reflecting MillView as a sophisticated sanctuary away from home.
