Reeve the Baker
Taste is our family tradition
Introduction
In 1952, Harold Reeve’s passion for craft baking laid the foundations for our continuing pursuit of excellence, a tradition they still honour daily. Family-owned with over 80 years of history, serving communities across the South West of England Reeve is now managed by a third-generation family baker. Known for their commitment to craft baking, they use locally sourced ingredients to create a wide range of artisanal breads, pastries, and baked goods. With thirteen bakeries located on high streets throughout Wiltshire, Dorset, and Hampshire, Reeve the Baker continues to be a staple in local communities, delivering fresh goods daily.

Website
The design and layout of the website follow the Reeve shop aesthetics; clean and simple, with a warm, artisan feel reflecting its family-run heritage. The homepage highlights their craftsmanship and their product focus. Navigation is user-friendly, with clear menu options for locating shops, learning about their process, and viewing allergen information.
Building the brand
The site’s typography and visuals evoke a sense of tradition and quality. Overall, the new website reinforces the brand's dedication to excellence in baking. Hand-drawn, pencil illustrations of product and shop fronts are soft, earthily toned, and lightly vintage aligned with the natural ingredients and homemade quality associated with Reeve. Soft textures and tones reinforce a sense of history and craftsmanship, making the visual experience feel warm, approachable, and rooted in heritage.
Combined with photography and video framed as a customer-eye view of walking through the store, with close-up footage of the early morning baking, draws a brand of real depth and warmth, at the heart of the communities Reeve bake for.
The new website has had a brilliant response from our customers, across the board. It’s helped us tell our story in a way that sets us apart from both smaller independents and larger national chains.
