A few months ago GD Environmental tasked us with designing a new look for their powerboat. It's not every day a project like that lands on your desk so we rolled up our trousers and jumped onboard (so to speak).
This weekend we finally got to see the beast in all its glory speeding across Cardiff Bay as it raced in the Superstock P1 National Championship – Welsh Grand Prix of the Sea. During the two days racing James Norvill and Christian Parson-Young secured three wins in the GD Environmental boat which was just enough to gain first place overall for Round 3 of the Championship.
Had there been an award for the best-looking boat we think the guys would have taken another P1 especially with their matching truck and overalls! We wish them all the best for the next two rounds in Torquay in August and Gosport in September.
